What happens to your donation?

A sponsorship currently costs 350 Euros or 27.000 Rupies per year.

The donated money goes into a community pot that is used exclusively for the costs of the boarding school children.

Expenses such as school books, medical care, food and accommodation for the children are financed by your donations. An outline of the costs (2022) is given below.

100% of your donation goes to the Jamyang School.

Friends of Tibet e.V., Katharina Kakar and other volunteers organizing sponsorships and helping the school, work free of charge for the benefit of the children.
How do I become a sponsor OUTSIDE India?

Send an e-mail to our school's email (jamyangschool12@gmail.com) in which you inform them that you will take on a Jamyang sponsorship. Please include your address, email and phone number in this email. We will get back to you with a godchild selected for you.

Things you should know.

Please be sure to include the keyword “Sponsorship Jamyang School Leh” so that the association can correctly allocate your donation. It is best to set up an annual standing order, but if you prefer to split the donation every six months or quarterly, you can of course do so as well.

Contributions lower than the full sponsorship of 350 Euros are also welcome.

Every year you will receive new reports about the Jamyang School and your godchild.
